Here at Think Money Group, we are currently looking to bring on a Senior Web Developer to join our Debt team – Gregory Pennington.

This is a brand new, exciting role, created as part of an on-going technology strategy to transform our business through enhanced web and mobile capabilities. We build complex systems in an agile environment whilst keeping it as simple and lean as possible.

We strive to empower our delivery team and have strong ambitions to create a powerful and productive working environment. The opportunity to promote and grow our web vision, whilst being fully hands-on with the latest web technologies is here for the right candidate. Duties will include, but not be limited to;

Responsibilities;

·Build and deploy both customer and business facing websites and web applications

·Pair up with the other developers to share knowledge and enhance skills within the team

·Unit testing your own development to ensure good quality delivery

·Work in a team-oriented, collaborative and cross-functional environment, providing guidance and knowledge to members of the team

·Mentoring junior staff to help build their skills

·Work closely with the wider business and product owners to understand their needs and requirements

·Help shape and influence the team, providing direction and vision

Skills;

·Master in mainstream front-development frameworks, Angular preferred, but others also desirable (React / Ember.js etc.)

·Master in HTML / CSS / JavaScript

·Strong experience of working / interacting with RESTful APIs

·Experience or knowledge of back-end technologies, C# .NET preferred, MVC etc. to help support and migrate away from legacy systems

·Experience in designing and delivering robust, elegant, and relevant solutions across multiple products and organisational units

·Experience or interest in Agile methodologies and development best practices such as continuous integration / delivery / deployment
