The company specilaise in many parts of construction such as building, civil engineering, demolition, land remediation, land restoration, sports and leisure and rail.
As a group they have already undertaken projects exceeding £90million in overall value, they still cater for smaller scale contracts, and are equipped and resourced to safely deliver large multi-disciplinary projects.
About the role
The company are looking for a Project Manager to join their Civil Engineering team in Peterborough and the East Midlands. You?ll have to manage, supervise, train and mentor the project team to enable them to optimise their work contribution. Set targets to measure performance, and drive continuous improvement of your team. You will be required to ensure the delivery of the performance is in line with targets and procedures. It?s important to be able to manage the process in a manner which enhances the reputation of the company and increases prospects for future work.
The projects you?ll be involved will be heavy civil engineering infrastructure projects which can range from highways, bridges to multi story carparks. You?ll need to cover the earthworks, the ground works, the enabling works, the RC Frame and the drainage.

You will be rewarded with very good and competitive salary starting salary ranging from £55,000?£60,000 + package.
You should be educated, as a minimum, to HNC in Construction/Civil Engineering Discipline or preferably have a BSc in Construction of Civil Engineering. You should have previously completed a 5 day SMSTS and holds CSCS at Management / Professionally Qualified Person level.
It is important you have experience working on projects with the valuation of £10 million plus to demonstrate you experience and ability as well as experience working on sewer rehabilitation contracts.
You should also have an understanding of the NRSWA and HAUC requirements and specifications and have good finance and organizational skills.
The company is looking for a candidate who is professional at all times and is used to working on the design and construction aspects of projects.
