I am currently looking for an experienced and accomplished Manufacturing Engineering Manager to play a key role in developing, monitoring and evaluating overall performance of the business in meeting and exceeding Key Performance Indicators.

Being the Manufacturing Manager, certain emphasis will be on all aspects of the Production, including Manufacturing Engineering, Continuous Improvement and Maintenance functions to support the business process across the Site

The position will provide useful financial and performance data to help make better decisions about formulating and executing strategy.

The Manufacturing Manager will interact effectively with other parts of the company, be viewed as a trusted business colleague. Critical outcomes include supporting the Senior Management Team with key information and operational analysis.

Other Key Responsibilities include: -

  • The manufacturing performance within the business.
  • To understand and control costs within your team including manufacturing efficiency, quality performance and overtime
  • To support the continuous development of product and processes and initiatives within your area, by being a champion of Lean Manufacturing techniques
  • To support New Project Introduction within the manufacturing area

You will have a technical background gained within the Automotive supply chain arena and a solid background in manufacturing management of technical components; ideally from: -

  • Injection moulding
  • Stamping
  • Chemical finishing
  • Electrical / Electronic environment

It is imperative you have a professional background gained within Works Management in a fast moving manufacturing arena, ideally within the Automotive supply chain

You will needed to have worked within and improve existing work practices and procedures surrounding the Quality (TS16949 / IATF 16949) and Environmental (ISO14001) systems
