Children’s Residential Support WorkerRibchester£18,000 per year Sleeps (aprox. £4,500 per year) We are looking to recruit experienced and motivated support workers to our Residential Children’s Home and College in Ribchester. The home and school are purpose built for children and young people aged 8-25 with ASD, complex needs, and learning disabilities. Set in picturesque countryside, and with a large staff team, you will have plenty of support to ensure your professional development. We unconditionally value each and every service user, and are looking for support workers who will provide holistic support to children and young people with a variety of disabilities. We have day and night shifts available, and provide 24-hour support, so you will need to be available for weekend and sleep shifts. Duties include:Provide care and supportive behavioural management to children.Develop strong relationships with service users.Creatively engage children to participate in activities.Keyworking with designated young people.Supporting education.Flexible to work night and weekend shifts.Preferable Qualifications/Experience:NVQ Level 3 Children and Young People.Full UK driving licence.Experience of supporting children/young people with ASD, in the age range 8-25 years.Applicants MUST be a minimum of 21 years old.This is a full time, permanent position.
