This is a newly created role with the Quality team and as such offers the opportunity to mould it and impact the business in a proactive and rewarding manner. The role will also deputise for the Quality Manager, setting standards and providing leadership within the team. Equally this position ensures the department is functionally watertight with regards to data, it's creation, accuracy, storage, management and accessibility. The role will also be key to developing the company's future market differentiators from both a product and service perspective.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

- Driving quality as a governing principle through the function and wider business
- Generating and delivering proactive, clear and concise communications across various departments, particularly Technology and Sales
- Building a symbiotic relationship between Quality and Technical departments
- Alignment of customer expectations with business capabilities from a quality and test standpoint.
- Provision of customer and vendor guidance in quality and test standards through reports and recommendations
- Establish the limits of liability on products and warranties, ensuring comprehensive contractual engagement with customers is established from a product standpoint
- Contribute to the business growth within the market
- Champion Continuous Improvement initiatives within these operations
- Delivering NPI process improvements in terms of speed and product acceptance


- Quality / reliability / test process experience in a manufacturing environment
- Ideally, experience of plastics, polymers, extrusion or fluid dynamics
- Strong report writing experience for guiding next action dependant on situation and customer requirements

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor's Degree in technical discipline
- 3+ years of relevant experience in a Quality / reliability / test engineering role
- Proven experience of delivering on customer related improvement programs
- Full Drivers Licence & passport
