About the role

Due to the company winning another huge project they are now looking for a construction manager to join their operations team and help support the project manager on their Thames Water team on site based in London. The company have been selected to deliver one of the largest and most varied water infrastructure improvement programmes in the UK. It will be providing design-and-build solutions for the development and delivery of Thames Water’s £2billion to £3billion AMP6 investment programme.

The successful candidate will be working closely with the Portfolio Delivery Lead (Infrastructure) to act as a direct support for managing and monitoring Contracts Managers for Infrastructure delivery. Throughout the project you’ll be providing advice and updates on problems encountered and support in resolving specific site difficulties. You’ll need ensure that you deliver the client’s needs in relation to targets, performance and budget requirements. The role is also accountable for liaising with third parties e.g. sub-contractors, clients and service providers in a professional manner to ensure best delivery of the work stream services.

Project Management experience

Degree or equivalent qualification in a construction related discipline.

APMP or equivalent

Must be delivery driven with the ability to set targets and manage and motivate multi-disciplinary teams to deliver to time, cost and quality objectives.

Extensive experience in large scale project delivery

IOSH / NEBOSH qualification is essential

Sound operational knowledge of the water industry
