Year 4 Teacher, Croydon
Year 4 Teacher, Croydon (ASAP Start)
A reputable three form entry, with a 'Good' OFSTED rating, are seeking a Year 4 teacher to join their team as soon as possible. The role has become available as the previous teacher is on maternity leave. The position will be full time, and for the remainder of the academic year.
Your new role will involve teaching a Year 4 class consisting of 30 children, some of which have SEN and EAL needs. These pupils attend a special provision within the school in the mornings, but are integrated into the classroom with their peers in the afternoons, so it is important that you plan lessons in line with the national curriculum that are both engaging and inclusive. The pupils in the class demonstrate a positive attitude to their learning, and parents are heavily invested in the attainment of their children, as well as the wider school.
You will be joining an oversubscribed school, with excellent facilities including a large staff room and staff car park and spacious school grounds, in a very convenient location which is also easily accessible by public transport. You will be supported by a welcoming and committed senior leadership and staff teaching team, and a fully qualified and friendly teaching assistant. The school is a Teaching School, meaning that ongoing CPD training is offered to all staff members.
In order to be considered for this role, you must hold QTS status, and have at least 2 valid references.
