Development Manager - Sheffield
A growing care provider is seeking a Development Manager support the challenging demands of their services, help to progress the business further and motivate staff to maintain the quality of service. This company provide support for people with Learning Disabilities, Autism and challenging behaviour in supported living and respite services in Sheffield.You will have direct responsibility for the setup of new care packages from assessment stage through to start of support and overseeing the delivery of the support in the initial stages. You will be carrying out a range of tasks which will include but not limited to: • Receiving and accepting referrals from external agencies in liaison with the Operations Manager • Organising and carrying out initial assessments including risk assessments • Writing and implementing a person centred care plan • Setting up and managing of new care packages including identifying staffing and liaising with coordination to carefully implement the start-up period ensuring a smooth transition into service • Conducting a thorough induction for all staff into all new care packages • Promotion of the company including attending events, fairs, etc. • Possible participation in the on call rotaSalary: £22,000-24,000 • Monday : Friday 9am-5pm • Due to the nature of this post, a driver is essentialKey skills and Competencies: • You do not necessarily need to have management experience but should at least have senior or deputy experience and have a good knowledge of how care plans are formulated. • A minimum of 2 years' experience within the learning disabilities field • Sound knowledge of legislation relating to CQC standards, Health & Safety, Employment and environmental health related issues. • Able to plan, co-ordinate, organize and work under pressure, whilst remaining professional • Excellent communication skillsIf you are interested in this vacancy please send your CV to email@example.com and I will give you a call.
