Your new company

You will be working in a professional Public Sector company in York.

Your new role

Your new role will involve varied tasks including managing the fixed assets, accruals and prepayments, review evidence of contingent liabilities, journal analysis and all round account housekeeping. Also you will be required to investigate estate backlogs, audit staff costs regarding to transfer and payroll, validate in year transaction samples and ensure controls are operating successfully.

What you'll need to succeed

To be successful you will need a strong understanding of financial controls and bookkeeping. You will also need experience in collating and evaluating robust audit evidence and liaising with external auditors. It is desirable you have public sector or non-for-profit organisation experience but it is not essential.
