Learning support practitioner needed x 2January startAutismBehaviourSmall schoolAcademics have been approached by a head teacher of a lovely small primary school on the outskirts of Stoke-on-Trent as the school has been given funding to appoint two learning support practitioners at the school working 1:1 with 2 pupils in Key Stage 2. Hours of work will be 20 hrs over 4 or 5 days.The appointed candidate will haveExcellent knowledge of SEN / AutismBe able to identify trigger points to behaviourFollow individual action plansBe able to build a positive relationshipWork well in a small teamPosses strong behaviour management skillsExperience of working with KS2 pupilsIf you have a background in SEN and supporting individual pupils this could be a great role for you. Starting in January this role should last until the end of the summer term.
