Robert Half Finance & Accounting are currently working with our client, a large organisation in Bristol, in their recruitment of an FP&A Manager on a permanent contract. This is a permanent, full time role, which will pay the successful candidate up to £50,000 + strong benefits.

The Role

  • Preparation of the management accounts pack, including cash flow, overheads and detailed variance analysis for the business units
  • Commercially analysing the business performance, identifying areas where a commercial impact can be made
  • Develop meaningful analysis and reports to support the review of and challenge forecasts
  • Provide executive analysis of business performance
  • Generate board and executive committee reports and presentations
  • Working with the business areas to improve the forecasting processes
  • Assist on the business modelling of new business opportunities
  • Produce daily sales and monthly volume reports
  • Ownership of P&L and finance model
  • Provide full variance analysis of between forecasts and actuals - producing commentaries

About You:
  • Qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA, ACA)
  • Strong commercial acumen
  • Strong IT skills (Excel, SAP - beneficial)
  • Innovative thinker with a can do attitude
  • Excellent analysis capability
