Front End Web Developer
We are seeking an enthusiastic Web Developer to join our team working on a large scale redevelopment of our online web presence. We are moving from a legacy Joomla platform to Drupal and seek to develop a world class B2B application for our global network of partners and clients.
The primary focus for this role will be development of web platforms to facilitate ongoing business objectives. We have ambitious plans for integrating our web platforms with our internal systems and welcome the opportunity to improve our platforms, this position will have an active role in defining and implementing these solutions.
Ideally you will have had at least 1-2 years of experience working as a front end web developer with a passion and enthusiasm for the Drupal platform. Experience working with responsive frameworks (bootstrap) and profiling/optimising for mobile web browsers is required. Also, a keen eye for detail with the ability to be create engaging and easy to use web interfaces/web pages
Additionally, it would be desirable if you have:
- worked on projects all the way from inception to completion
- understanding of backend development: LAMP/AWS/Aquia
- experience/knowledge of Agile (Scrum, Kanban)
- experience with version control, such as GIT
- experience working with Content Management Systems (Joomla)
- knowledge of web accessibility & UI best practice
- an understanding of contemporary SEO practices
