Baltic Training are pleased to be working with Lansafe to recruit for an IT Support Apprentice to join their team based in the Appley Bridge area of Wigan.
Lansafe are business communications specialists. They offer a wide variety of services which is backed 100% by customer support. Since they were established in 2004 Lansafe have developed a great reputation and now work with some very well know business such as the Ministry of Defence and The Cavern Club Liverpool. Some of the services they offer telecoms, broadband and Wi-Fi services.
They are now looking for a confident and outgoing individual to join their successful business and start their career in IT.

You will be working alongside existing staff and be mentored and trained to carry out the following duties:
- 1st Line Support
- Identifying issues.
- Troubleshooting issues.
- Attending site visits.
Training to be provided:
- Level 3 Advanced Apprenticeship in ICT
- Level 3 Advanced Diploma in ICT Systems and Principles
- Networking Fundamentals
- Mobility and Device Fundamentals
- ITIL Foundation
- Cloud Fundamentals
- Coding and Logic
- Level 2 Functional Skills (Literacy, Numeracy and ICT)
Skills and qualifications required:
- Good telephone manner.
- Basic troubleshooting skills.
- Knowledge of Routers, LAN, Networking, Wi-Fi etc.
- Able to use basic tools.
- Knowledge of various OS Systems.
The future is bright
Upon completion of the 12 month programme, there are real progression opportunities available. Along with your employer, you may decide to progress onto our level 4 programme and take your training even further.
Salary, hours and benefits
- £132 per week
- Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm
Location and travel
Their modern office is based in the Appley Bridge area of Wigan. The local train station is only half a mile away and bus services also run from Wigan and Skelmersdale.
