Regulatory Reporting Actuary
Fairbank Partners are currently assisting a leading UK Life Insurer with their search for a Qualified Regulatory Reporting Actuary.
The purpose of this role is to report on the financial results across regulatory bases, including SII and IFRS. Further responsibilities include:
- Assisting in consolidation of results, balance sheet production, and the communication of results to senior stakeholders.
- Methodology and assumptions setting, including MA compliance and VA supportability.
- Developing the reporting processes.
The ideal candidate will be a Qualified Actuary (Nearly Qualified Actuaries will be considered), with experience working within the reporting team of a UK Life Insurer. They ought to have a good knowledge of SII and Capital, and a knowledge of Matching Adjustments, QRT’s, and Volatility Adjustments is desirable.
