Dean Healthcare are currently working with one of our well-established clients, to recruit a Senior Support Worker, to work 30 hours per week, in Milton, near Abingdon.You will be working to support the cluster manager, to ensure all service users receive the best quality of care, and that all care is person centred.You will also ensure all support workers receive the support required to carry out their duties.Experience as a Senior Support Worker is essential.Your duties may include, but will not be limited to:Prompting or assisting with personal careAccompanying service users out in the communityPartake in the on-call rotaAssisting with keeping the home clean and tidyAdministrative dutiesSupport the staff during inductionCarry out fact finding early stages investigationObserve and feedback on SW practice and interactions with the people they supportMonitor service complianceLine manage employees, volunteers and relief staff identifiedProviding person centred care to each service userWe're looking for someone whom:is responsibleis motivatedis trustworthyhas good communication skillsis encouraging and patientHas a full driving licenceHas experience in a similar roleHas Diploma in Health and Social Care Level 2Has a good knowledge of learning disabilitiesThe hourly rate for this role is £9.68 per hour The company also has a range of benefits available to its employees, including:Pension As a member of staff, you can join their pension scheme from day one of your employment.
