The Digital Content Editor is part of a Corporate Communications team, responsible for producing content for internal and external websites, as well as administering the systems behind them.

Derbyshire Constabulary is responsible for policing and promoting law and order across the county of Derbyshire. This role is based at the modern HQ building at Ripley.

You will be capable of providing support to the team, as they undergo a period of transition to a new intranet system. You will be both transitioning old content to new formats, and generating new content from a variety of sources. The role will also involve training staff to use the new systems, and you will have a high standard of written and verbal communication.

You will be a great team player with a strong command of the English language and will be able to work to deliver projects to fixed milestones and deadlines.

You will have:previous professional experience of content editingan understanding of the general user experience (UX) principles in relation to site navigation, structure and content layoutExperience of using Adobe photoshop or similar graphics packages

As the successful candidate will be subject to Police Security checks, you must have been resident in the UK for the previous three years continuously.
