Health and Social Care Teacher
January 2018 start, part time 2-3 days per week, full time post negotiable, paid to scale, two terms.
Hays Education are delighted to be working on behalf of a large secondary school in Sandwell to recruit for temporary, part time Health and Social Care teacher to start in January 2018. This is a part time teaching role, two to three days a week for the remainder of the academic year.

Your new Role
In your new secondary teaching job you will be expected to work alongside the current teacher in a team teach relationship. You will assist in delivering lessons that will engage pupils and you will need to have the natural ability to deliver them with confidence and enthusiasm. You will need to be experienced teaching up to KS5 and be familiar with teaching the BTEC curriculum. Due to the nature of the role it is offered as a 'paid to scale' post (MPS/UPS). The role is offered on a temporary basis until the end of the academic year. This role is not suitable for NQTs.
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in your new teaching job you will have completed your studies and hold UK QTS. You will be an experienced, Health and Social Care teacher that is passionate about student progress and is committed to helping pupils to achieve their academic potential. The ideal candidate would have been in a long term or permanent teaching role and will be able to supply Hays with outstanding references from the previous employer.
