1st Line Support


Salary up to - £18,000

Our client is recruiting for a 1st Line Support / IT Technician in the Normanton area.

What will you do?

  • Working with the 4 support staff to answer the phone and log tickets
  • Prioritize tickets and work through them
  • Answer additional staff queries
  • Configure new equipment for staff
  • Assist the infrastructure engineers with larger projects

Key Skills:

  • Keen to learn and develop
  • Good telephone manner
  • Manage own workload
  • Basic knowledge of Windows Server 2012, 2016 - Administration, Configuration, Troubleshooting
  • Active Directory
  • Microsoft Exchange 2013 Administration
  • Previous service desk exposure

Desirable Skills:

  • Exposure to VMWare
  • Powershell scripting
  • Network fault finding
  • Firewall Administration
  • Exposure to Office 365
  • Knowledge of Apple devices
