We’re on the lookout for a top-notch Public Relations Specialist who’s been waiting for the right opportunity. We have a stage and we need someone who can shine.

The candidate will usually know a good B2B Public Relations strategy when they see one. They should have impeccable communication skills. They’ll love being at the heart of the action and will be able to crank out quality work at high speed, but will also be excited to delegate effectively to our incredible Marketing team.

They should be really nice. No big egos or divas, please.

Public Relations Specialist Requirements:

  • Working experience within public relations/ PR
  • A proven track record designing and executing successful public relations/ PR campaigns at both local and national level
  • Strong relationships with both local and national business and industry media outlets
  • A full understanding of media needs and media relationships
  • Excellent communication, writing and editing skills
  • Understanding of the B2B energy market would be advantageous, but not essential
  • Here’s what the Public Relations Specialist can expect to be doing:

  • Planning, developing and implementing effective public relations/ PR campaigns to promote Love Energy Savings to a business audience
  • Communicating with colleagues and key spokespeople
  • Researching, writing and distributing press releases to targeted media
  • Liaising with, and answering queries from, media, individuals and other organisations
  • Collating, analysing and reporting on media coverage
  • Writing and editing case studies, speeches, award entries, articles, brochure material and reports when required
  • Sourcing and managing speaking opportunities
  • Organising events including press tours, open days, roundtables and awards
  • Commissioning market research
  • Fostering community relations through events and involvement in community initiatives
