Polkadotfrog are currently recruiting a new exclusive role for our growing client based near Bar Hill. Our client has a small but growing Support team and we are looking for a professional and experienced Systems Administrator to join a busy IT team to ensure the delivery of a reliable, stable and secure IT infrastructure and provide a superior level of support to our clients internal users.

Working with the IT team you will be responsible for providing 1st and 2nd line support to internal users both in the UK and in our remote offices and you will be responsible for taking on projects as required. You will be managing and resolving all IT incidents in line with agreed SLA’s and monitoring and managing infrastructure performance, availability & capacity. Ideally you shall have experience making recommendations and improvements to infrastructure as well as maintaining infrastructure environments.

You will be supporting and managing internally hosted services and as part of a small team covering Security & compliance, Backup / Restore policies, IT hardware / software assets, Writing department documentation & policies, assisting with the identification & delivery of new technologies for the business, administration, implementation and provision of technical support of applications and associated hardware in a client server environment and administration and management of layer 2 and 3 networks

Applicants will have proven support / systems administration skills and you will have been working in a Microsoft Environment working with Active Directory, Office 365, Sharepoint (preferred - not essential), ITIL environment and prior experience within a Technology or Product environment would be beneficial.

Experience and Skills Required

·Experience providing 1st and 2nd Line support

·Any or equivalent: MCP qualified, ITIL, NetApp, Mimecast, SharePoint, VCP, MCSA

·Educated to degree level or equivalent in a relevant subject

Desirable:

·Experience of working in global organisations with multisite operations

·Linux Desktop / Server OS knowledge

·ERP knowledge
