What will you be doing?

This is a very hands on role and you’ll be working across the business with both internal and external customers, you’ll also be responsible for:

  • Developing electronic products for a wide range of electronic equipment
  • Management of the design lifecycle, prototype and build through to test the products
  • Working as an integral part of the team, working with the latest devices on the market
  • Work to improve design, manufacture and repair ensuring safety requirements are met
  • Extensive liaison with other engineering groups
  • Occasional travel both in the UK and overseas.
What experience do you need?

You’ll already have a proven work history in the design and development of electronic products; you’ll also need:

  • To be educated to degree level (or similar)
  • Expert knowledge of both Inventor and AutoCAD
  • Have experience in the design of low power analogue circuits
  • Proven skills in the design of PLCs
  • Knowledge of high speed communication systems
  • An understanding of optical/Imaging systems
  • RF system knowledge
  • Knowledge of SAP or a similar MRP systems desirable
  • Dynamic and decisive team player
  • Able to build strong relationships
  • Keen eye for detail
What are the pay and benefits?

An excellent salary of up to £40,000 is on offer for this role, you’ll be working a 37-hour week and flexi time is available. There is an excellent benefits package which includes; pension, 25 days holiday plus bank holidays, M & S vouchers and outstanding training.
