Our client is looking for a Project Engineer (degree qualified) with both design office and commissioning experience (gas plants/heaters/boilers etc.). They are looking for a permanent member of staff. Due to continued growth they are currently looking for the Engineer to join them in providing outstanding services.?

Pay Scale

Permanent - Approximately 40-50K pa as a permanent member of staff (dependent on experience)

Key Skills Requirements

·Degree or equivalent in relevant engineering field

·Minimum 3-5 years’ experience in Project Engineering

·Computer Literacy (Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

·Good level of literacy and numeracy

·Problem solving skills

·Effective communication and time management

·Ability to work as part of a team

·Ability to manage others

·Ability to prepare and manage project costs

·Negotiating skills

·Open attitude

·Willingness to take on all varied project related tasks

·Willing to be part of team and an approach to flexibility when working in small groups

·Eager and willing to work with clients

·Able to take responsibility for decisions and actions

·Good people management/supervision and communication skills

·Be a team player with a willingness to share ideas with other disciplines

·Be flexible and have ability to demonstrate high levels of initiative

·Possess good planning and organizational skills and be accustomed to meeting tight deadlines

Main Responsibilities

·Full life cycle Project Engineering/Management execution experience in oil and gas, including design office, construction and commissioning site experience

·Projects experience in Concept Study, pre-FEED, FEED, and EPC on relevant projects

·Must be formally recognised for performance in leading transition of facilities from EPC contractors to Operating Company

·Experience in turnaround management with proven track record in project recovery

·Managing a team with multiple client interfaces

·Budgetary responsibilities including project management of consultancy agreements and customer contracts

·Manage project team and provide technical analysis where necessary

·Deliver technical and project management services, advice, reports, and strive to meet customer's expectations

·Ensure projects meet time, cost, and quality standards

·Complete inspections, site attendances, and written reports

·Prepare engineering reports

·Prepare engineering & Construction schedules

·Prepare multi-discipline client presentations
