Application Support Analyst - 6 Months contract - Asset Management Bank - £320pd

I am actively seeking a Strong Application support manager who can work with the line management of the application support team in which you provide oversight and guidance on Application Support resource levels, skills and locations. Identify resource deficiencies, shortfalls and opportunities and highlight as appropriate, ensuring any changes required are effectively implemented.

As this is going to be working for a highly respected Asset company you have to have the background experience of working in a financial environment.

* Problem solving - the ability to demonstrate a logical, rational and methodical approach to resolving issues and decision making

Application Support Analyst - 6 Months contract - Asset Management Bank - £320pd

  • Act as a contact point for cross-team initiatives that require the involvement of corporate shared service groups such the Technology Service Group (TSG) and Technology Risk Management (TRM.)
  • Act as the focal point for the business with respect to the Application Support function, taking responsibility for issue escalation where other avenues have failed.
    • Work with the Head of Core Technology and Production Manager to ensure a clear understanding of the clients applications with respect to usage within the business, support requirements, key stakeholders (including SMEs) and systems design and infrastructure.

This role will provide day-to-day management of the application support function. This will focus on issue management and orchestration, responsibility for business and technology communications, and general oversight of the application support function, including vendor management, SLA definition and monitoring, and management reporting.
