Process Engineer TS16949 Quality Systems PPAP waste reduction

Our client, a Crick based manufacture supplying the automotive industry, are looking for a Process Engineer.

Salary circa £30,000 - £35,000

Working closely with the Production Manager, we are particularly looking for someone who is the focal point for internal quality and reduction of waste in all processes and have a good awareness of Health & Safety activities in a manufacturing/ engineering environment.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the quality of all products/processes, which includes measuring equipment, production quality documentation, new product introduction and concern resolution. Also to ensure that the processes and procedures are implemented and documented to meet desired certification.

The Engineer will be able to respond and react to internal issues and implement corrective
actions where necessary.

Keys Skills

Evaluate internal defect and downtime information to form appropriate plans of improvement.
Support product/process change activities through the Change Management System.
Provide training to production team for safe, efficient operation
Perform Risk Assessments
Provide process documentation and operating instructions
Manage non-conformance
Knowledge of TS16949
Knowledge and use of Quality Systems
Control Plan Creation/Update
PFMEA Contribution
PPAP Submission
Process capability studies
Gauge R&R studies
Working with 8D Methodology
