Are you interested in learning about foreign exchange and working in a fast paced agile environment? Do you want to learn how to automate tests for systems in a BDD environment working closely with strong and engaged development and product teams?

If the answer is yes then join the WorldFirst QA team in its exciting period of growth into automation and using exploratory testing to help us move to a CD model of delivery incorporating git, Jira, Bamboo, Docker and Kubernetes.

We are an open team that welcomes suggestions and will try new ways of testing to help deliver a more robust system to our customers.

The role:

As part of a cross functional scrum team, you will:

Be involved early in setting your team’s quality requirementsBring a passion for quality and attention to detail to your teamWork with your team to create and implement automated test scenariosVerify functional aspects of user stories delivered by the team match requirementsActively participate in scrum meetings and 3 amigos, helping to identify quality aspects of storiesTrack defect rates over time, and actively work with operational teams and your team for process improvementAid with solving problems independently and quickly and sharing findings with the QA teamRecognize and highlight when process improvement or escalation is necessaryYou are:

Experienced in testing Web APIs using any automation tools (e.g. SoapUI, PostMan), and testing RESTful Web APIs manually.Security and Performance Testing aware, able to read/understand PHP or Java code-baseCertified to advanced Test Analyst ISTQB CertificationExperienced in working in a financial web and local environmentAble to determine what data must be returned to application and writing queries using SQL commandsAble to understand the way databases work with cloud applicationsAble to analyse test scenarios, apply critical thinking, and troubleshooting skillsPassionate about learning, training and sharing of knowledgeAmbitious, driven to learn new skills from internal / external source, and to bring in new skills to the teamAble to think beyond assigned task, identify dependencies on applications, and be a good team playerYou are not afraid of:

Using the Linux CLIUsing version control, specifically gitRunning SQL queries on a database and understanding complex dataPicking up some development skill along the wayIn return we’ll give you:
