quality and sensor tester
Our client is looking for a technician. Someone who has a high level of attention to detail, able to maintain focus on sometimes repetitive tasks. This high input department is looking for someone to join a growing team based in Witney. This year long temporary position is ideal for someone who is looking who wants to help maintain the highest quality standards.
This roles includes:
- Preform quality checks on the products in a timely and efficient manner.
- Have a good working knowledge of all current and new products
- Preform visual inspections on the products for faults
- Accurately weighing raw materials and performing calculations based on this information
- Performing basic engineering functions for example set-up checks and routine maintenance of laboratory equipment
To deliver quality and compliant sensor testing on time, in full and cost effectively to meet the needs of the business and customers.
Performing sensor testing and batch record review and approval to support product release, on-market stability, complaints, and product development trials. Work positively and effectively with fellow team members, cross functional groups and managers, making sure that all communications and behaviours are consistent with ADC core values and the Abbott Code of Conduct. Individually accountable for the quality and efficiency of their own actions whilst performing sensors testing, and to remain compliant with the ADC quality system, GLP and regulatory requirements. To maintain awareness of new/changed products and processes within the area, and to proactively support projects and drive improvements in terms of quality, cost and efficiency in line with Business Excellence initiatives. To ensure compliance with EHS Regulations and Abbott standards by adhering the EHS systems and procedures. Being accountable for the health and safety of themselves and others by highlighting where EHS improvements can be made.
Previous experience in a good practice manufacturing practice or laboratory experience preferred but not required, all training will be provided.
Working hours Monday to Friday, one week 6am to 2pm second week 2pm to 10pm
Rate: £10 per hour Location: Witney (own transport ideal due to location)
