Laura is a very happy and lively 4 year old who loves music, dancing and playing hide and seek. She shares a very close bond with her older sister Chloe who is 6. Laura has Angelman Syndrome and shows signs of delayed development and weakness. She is able to self-feed and absolutely adores her food!! Laura can walk short distances with a helping hand, otherwise her push chair is used on outings. She currently uses an iPad for assistive communication which she loves. Lots of encouragement is key when it comes to Laura’s language development and Dad is keen to promote Laura’s own independence as much as possible.

This position will be sole and shared care with dad and the full-time, live-out nanny housekeeper. The family are looking for someone who is going to be very calm and patient with the children and is excited to help with the children's development. Some occasional light household help is required (mostly children-related and some cooking for the family)

This position entails a very large amount of spare time. If the candidate is interested in complementing the work hours with a second part-time positions the family are happy to agree and even facilitate this; however a second position must allow for enough flexibility during the year that this family's needs remain the priority.

This job will suit a student or recent graduate who is looking to further their experience in the SEN world! The perfect candidate will be loving, energetic, smiley and enthusiastic. This is a great opportunity to join a loving family home who will provide you with great accommodation (good sized double bedroom with en-suite) and only a three minute walk from the tube station.
