The Marketing - Digital Marketing Manager role:This role is working directly within the stand-alone training division of Jellyfish. This is an exciting opportunity to utilise a wide range of digital marketing skills and techniques to help generate new business for the company. The Digital Marketing Manager will play an important role in enhancing brand awareness within the digital space as well as driving website traffic, acquiring leads and generating ecommerce sales.

You will be responsible for leading digital marketing activity across four geographic markets (UK, USA, South Africa and Spain). The Digital Marketing Manager will play a hands-on role in managing our PPC, SEO, social and email activity. You should have a strong grasp of current digital marketing tools and strategies and be able to lead integrated digital marketing campaigns from concept to execution.

Digital Marketing Manager Responsibilities:
  • Creates effective digital marketing campaigns to drive leads and sales online
  • Design digital media campaigns aligned with business goals
  • Play a hands-on role with PPC, SEO, social, content marketing, display, email and any other digital channels.
  • Develop an annual digital marketing plan in line with the Business Development strategy.
  • Deliver all marketing activity within the agreed budget, including control and reporting on all marketing related budget elements, internal and external costs.
  • Create a detailed content calendar: review, refresh and update in line with marketing plan
  • Proactively manage and implement international social media content calendars
  • Write and optimise content for the social networking accounts such as Facebook and Twitter
  • Analyse the performance of assigned campaigns, identifying new opportunities and facilitating change to hit KPIs
  • Edit and post videos, podcasts and audio content to online sites
  • Help develop and implement country marketing plan for all geographic regions
  • Provide support to help run PPC campaigns efficiently
  • Identify new trends in digital marketing, evaluate new technologies and ensure the brand is at the forefront of industry developments
  • Closely monitor results of all campaigns you are responsible for; evaluating and reporting on promotions and campaigns in a timely manner.
  • Understand the Jellyfish business model and ‘Go-To-Market’ strategy.
  • Deliver all marketing activity within the agreed budget, including control and reporting on all marketing related budget elements, internal and external costs.
  • Create a detailed content calendar: review, refresh and update in line with marketing plan
  • Identify online PR opportunities, manage content & distribution, and align with training content calendar.
  • Co-ordinate all activity with Jellyfish Group marketing initiatives, where applicable, be responsible for the ‘localisation’ of global content.
  • Utilise web analytics to gain insight on overall website performance, maintain and provide analysis from marketing performance dashboard, align to marketing plan and report on overall goals and variances to plan.
  • Monitor market trends and utilise this information via social channels, POV docs, working with key members within the training team
  • Maintain brand impact and competitor insight via marketing performance dashboard.
  • Look at the development and delivery of the email marketing strategy across geographic markets
  • Providing proactive recommendations for automated and event triggered communication
  • Delivering data in the form of reports - weekly and monthly, on all email campaign KPIs (opens, clicks etc.)
  • Produce and present post-campaign analysis reports and recommendations for further improvements
  • Seek out new strategic partnerships that can be used to build the training revenues.
  • Identifying and proposing advertising or sponsorship opportunities to Company Directors.
  • Manage the creative process on all marketing related items, maintain an editorial calendar of opportunities.
  • Uphold relationships with media partners.
Digital Marketing Manager Knowledge & Experience Requirements:
  • Significant experience in a digital marketing related role, ideally gained within a digital agency, or a marketing services organisation.
  • A strong working knowledge of the overall digital marketing mix – email, SEO, PPC, content and social.
  • Experience of creating successful digital marketing campaigns across all channels.
  • Confident in creating and deploying content via social media platforms e.g. Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn.
  • Highly creative with experience in identifying target audiences and creating digital campaigns that engage, inform and motivate them
  • Knowledge of Google Analytics.
  • Experience of using content management systems
  • Understanding of other related software a bonus, but not essential such as Photoshop, Brandwatch, email marketing tools.
  • CIM qualification preferred.

The Digital Marketing Manager will work closely with the Senior Brand Manager, dedicated trainers and supporting teams to launch effective, high impact campaigns. You will need to immerse yourself in the product, understand the market, and find ways to keep Jellyfish one step ahead of the competition.
