Job Description Position Summary of Room Architect & Application Engineer:

This position within my EMEA client will be a multi-role position fulfilling two key responsibilities

1. Room Architect - An extended resource for our Sales Team (Pre-Sales) that resides within the Advanced Engineering Group

2. Application Engineer - TDA (Technical Design Authority) for Audio/Visual designs (Post Sales).

Role 1:Room Architect

The Room Architect is responsible for the pre-sales engineering and design of conference rooms and spaces. The Room Architect assesses the business objectives for conference spaces and creates a solution based on their product strategy and standards. The primary deliverables of this role are the Proposal, Bill of Materials (BoM) and Scope of Work (SOW). The Room Architect will review the solutions and costs with the client along with the Account Manager.

Role 2: Application Engineer

The Application Engineer shall provide technical support and leadership for a myriad of efforts, including CAD and drafting, documentation, and support of audio-visual, video-conference, digital media and related network systems. The Application Engineer will be wholly responsible for all technical aspects of an assigned project, including but not limited to the technical, physical, ergonomic, acoustics as well as the structural safety of a system.

The Engineering Group team was formed in 2017 and is ~evolutionary not revolutionary the very nature of is agility will ensure its success long term. The Engineering Group is formed of 4 functional areas as follows;

1. Engineering Group Design Pre-Sales for both A/V ~Rooms (Room Architects) and UC Solutions (Solutions Architects)

2. Engineering Group Implementation & Support UC Infrastructure engineering installing and supporting solutions

3. Engineering Group Hosting Data Centre and UC Application engineers supporting Client services

4. Engineering Group Healthcare Engineering Vertically aligned specialist team for Healthcare applications

The Engineering Group functions and individuals all home something in common, they are all technical experts in the field of Visual Communications, and as such can cross-function across each of the functional areas described above.

About the Integration Team

The Integration team is responsible for both the low-level design of a solution and the delivery. The integration team carries the responsibility of converting bookings into revenue in a timely manner whilst ensure excellence and customer satisfaction. The ownership of Integration projects sits with the Project Manager and the Application Engineer who own the project delivery and technical design respectively. The Application Engineer has full internal control of the technical design and has the final say on any changes and deviations. The Integration team is built up of members covering many different functions, as follows;

Application Engineering
Project Management
Field Engineering
