Person Specification:

This school is looking for a bright and energetic graduate to join their team of supportive and friendly staff. They are looking for a graduate with a minimum of a 2:1 and somebody who potentially has some experience to take into the role. You will need to be able to demonstrate a commitment to education and raising the aspirations and confidence of children. In addition to this, you will need to show an empathetic approach to children who may be challenging on a day-to-day basis. The school offers a broad and varied curriculum and would welcome somebody who takes the initiative to plan their own resources and interventions.

About the Role:

In this role, you will be working throughout the primary school to primarily deliver therapeutic interventions to a focus group of vulnerable children. The children will be from various backgrounds and have various needs, therefore a flexible, positive and committed person will be suited to this role. You may have to deal with challenging behaviour so if you are able to foster strong relationships with children, this role could be for you! You will be assisting inside and outside of the classroom, to support the curriculum strategies of the school.
