Public Practice Recruitment Ltd are looking for a pro-active Junior Accountant (AAT qualified or studying towards their ACCA/ACA exams) with 12 months practice experience of working within a Public Practice Accountancy firm to join this ambitious and forward-thinking accountancy firm based in Cheshire.

Candidates without prior practice-based experience will not be considered for this role.

Our client based in Cheshire is a well-respected firm within the area, with several offices operating throughout the UK. They focus on Accounting, Audit and Bookkeeping and Taxation services. They are an ambitious firm who pride themselves in delivering a first-class service.

This will be the perfect job opportunity for a Junior Accountant who thrives on being challenged.

The responsibilities for the Junior Accountant job based in Cheshire include:

  • Assisting with accounts preparation for Limited Companies, Sole Traders and Partnerships
  • VAT returns
  • Bookkeeping and Payroll
  • Assisting with tax computations, both personal and corporate
  • Liaising with HMRC
  • Arranging client meetings
  • Assisting Semi Senior Accountant and Senior Accountants
  • Assisting in the management of client files

The right Junior Accountant for this role will be AAT qualified or studying towards their ACCA/ACA exams with at least 12 months’ practice experience. Not only will the perfect Junior Accountant have great enthusiasm for the job, but also the desire to learn and grow alongside this lively firm.

The Junior Accountant Job demands someone who can deliver excellent client service levels, they will need to take ownership of their own workload. Strong time management skills are imperative.

The successful Junior Accountant will have experience of working in a busy public practice accountancy firm and have the ambition to carve out a career working in Practice. Confidence in communicating with clients is essential, along with an eye for detail.
