M-EC is one of the leading consulting development engineers and operates on a nationwide basis with offices in Leicester, Birmingham, Leeds, Milton Keynes and Nottingham, for both private and public sector, including residential, commercial, industrial, retail, leisure, education and healthcare.
We are looking for a Marketing Executive to take on the managing of the marketing and PR activities - including the company and staff newsletters, website and social media.
The role:·Manage all marketing and PR activities in an accurate and timely fashion, reporting to the Managing Director.

·Delivery of company promotional activities in conjunction with the senior management team to support key commercial objectives set by Directors.

·Development of internal system improvements in conjunction with Directors to improve promotion of company and reputation, determining priorities, costs and timescales.

·Weekly reporting to Directors, monthly reporting to senior management team and monthly communication to all staff (newsletter). Monthly meeting with PR agency and Directors.

·Liaison with external organisations such as PR agency, IT providers, suppliers, etc.

·Management of company brand to ensure consistency of use. Develop continual improvements to keep branding relevant and professional. Manage company standard documents and maintain company brand manual.

·Production of marketing material including graphic design for company brochure, technical capability brochures, case studies, promotional gifts, leaflets, event invites, etc.

·Assisting senior management team with tender submissions and bids, including preparation of submission documents, graphic design and overall presentation.

·Produce monthly news emails for issue to clients and other key external organisations/individuals.

·Monitor daily news, industry and other relevant media and identify key topics for comment by key expert staff. Use website, email marketing, newsletter, social media and other opportunities to promote company expertise and reputation in relation to such news topics.

·Development and daily management of social media, including Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter and other platforms.

·Occasional targeted marketing campaigns to support business development/marketing initiatives by Directors. Organising occasional client corporate hospitality, receptions and other events.

Requirements:

·Minimum 3 years’ experience of marketing within similar type/size of organisation.

·Educated to a minimum standard of Chartered Institute of Marketing Diploma or similar in a relevant subject.

·Proficient using Adobe suite of graphic design software packages or similar.

·Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office.

·Proficient in using various forms of social media, website management/development.

·Must be able to work both independently and as part of a team within the company and external organisations.

·Self-motivated individual with desire to not only work within the company but also have ambition to help it grow and develop. Mentoring/supervision of trainee staff to develop their knowledge and skills.

·Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, able to present information in detail to Directors, senior management team and staff.

Hold full clean driving licence and have own private car with insurance for business use.
