Amber Mace is currently recruiting for a Charge Nurse (RGN, RMN, and
RNLD) to work within a small learning disability service, on the outskirts of
Clacton on Sea. The service provides support for people living with learning
disabilities, complex needs, have mental health needs, or challenging behaviour.
The service is made up of two sites; a unit that supports women with learning
disabilities and an individualised, separate flat for an individual who
requires intensive 24 hour care.
As Charge Nurse, you will be an authoritative presence when the
Manager and Deputy are away. You will manage and lead a team of dedicated and
hardworking nurses and assist them in carrying out the highest standards of care
for the service users.

The Role:


Providing a high standard of care to
service users at all times


Carry responsibility for the staff
team as a senior member of staff, as well as working to help develop their
skills


Delegating duties and nursing resources


Developing therapeutic relationships
to optimise patient engagement


Following all codes of conduct,
standards and legislation, respecting the rights of others and promoting
ethical practice


Accepting personal and shared
responsibility for the maintenance of quality nursing care within the home
