My client is a large Utilities consultancy and contractor with a large presence in the water industry. They are a leading consultancy in the water industry and employ over 1000 members of staff across the water & environment sector. They have been working in the industry since the early 90's and have now got an international stake in the industry.

They are working with several water companies across the ULk in several areas of their businesses, offering advice and services within several fields. Currently they are looking for engineers with experience in water optimisation and water distribution. Specifically looking at water leakage / water pressure and water quality sampling.

The ideal candidate will have experience in these areas and would be happy to travel to different areas to work on several projects and solve issues within these fields. With this you will be rewarded with a Healthy salary based on experience, van, fuel card and any equipment needed. You will also be entitled to the company benefits such as pension and shares. You will be required to work 40 hours per week.

Your responsibilities will be:
·Managing the project delivery of clients networks, looking at risk and liabilities within the clean water network across their DMA's and across all network distribution systems
·Working with the water boards operational teams and support teams to give the best support possible
·Ensure customer care and support is of a high standard and taken as no.1 priority
·Ensure you provide leadership & management across the team, working with project managers & professional engineers
·Collaborate with other engineers to develop new ideas and increase opportunities of success
·Support the water companies on all other matters related to optimisation

You will need the following skills and abilities:
·Health & Safety qualification or a high Health & Safety awareness
·Civil Engineering degree or equivalent (ideally 2:1 or above)
·Experience within the water industry, in specific water optimisation
·Good English & Numeracy skills
·Excellent ability to analyse date, interoperate data and ability to manipulate data
·A good understanding of DMA's and design + operation of water distribution networks
·A full valid UK driving license

The desirable skills include:
·A sound knowledge of serviceability measures within the water industry and the performance commitments of water companies
·Experience of data analysing systems within the water industry, including reporting systems such as Netbase & WaterNet
·MAnagement qualifications or tickets
·Experience of liaising with operational staff in the water industry
