Optical Assistant - Monday to Friday - Portsmouth

As an Optical Adviser, you’ll make sure every customer gets a great experience. From a warm welcome, through to help with selecting the right products for their eyewear and eye care needs.
As an Optical Adviser, you will be visiting patients at their home address or care setting. You'll get to know your customers, building great rapport, putting them at ease and get a real feeling of satisfaction from helping them look and feel great. It means listening to what they want, explaining their offers and products and dispensing different types of lenses.
You’ll work with NHS guidelines (as well as my client’s high standards), give good, clear advice and make a positive, memorable impression, thanks to your can-do attitude and professional approach.
You’ll also get involved with booking eye examinations, fitting and adjusting frames and helping select the best eye care solutions for each customer. What is required of you:
- Highly motivated results driven personality.
- Valid UK Driving License
- Strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
- Very organized with the ability to multi-task.
- Ability to work and problem solve independently in a mobile environment
- To comply with all aspects of the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974 and with the Company’s current Health and Safety Policies.
- A passion for optometry!
- Operate in line with company policies, procedures, NHS guidelines and current legislation always.
To be considered for this role you MUST have Optical experience.
