Position: IT Co-ordinator
Location: Runcorn, Cheshire
Salary: Competitive + Bonus Scheme

The Company:
Part of an international sales, marketing and support services group - Our client manufactures and packs tablets and hard shell capsules for the nutritional industry and has an annual turnover of circa £45m.

The company employs circa 250 people on site and has an excellent track record of growth and ambitious plans for future expansion.

They now have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced IT Co-ordinator to join them.

The IT Co-ordinator Role:
As the IT Co-ordinator, you will be responsible for the development and maintenance of the Company’s IT infrastructure - to ensure the Company meets its business objectives in an effective and efficient manner.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop a thorough understanding of the Company’s core ERP and MRP systems in order to provide support, implement upgrades and develop specifications for future developments to meet the changing needs of the business
  • Design, develop, test and implement system enhancements
  • Develop, implement and manage IT policies and procedures to ensure the Company’s information assets are properly protected
  • Manage the key suppliers of IT hardware, software and services to ensure a quality service is provided in a cost effective manner
  • Train end users to efficiently use all the Information Technology deployed within the business
  • Perform the function of local network administrator and support all hardware and software deployed within the business
Skills & Experience Required:
In order to be successful in this IT Co-ordinator role, the ideal candidate must be able to demonstrate the following;
  • Have a degree or equivalent qualification in Information Technology or a related subject
  • Experience of configuring and managing Windows AD Domains including backup/disaster recovery, DFS, VPN and WSUS technologies
  • Experience of managing Office 365, configuring Firewalls, routing, Vlans and virtualisation of servers using Hyper-V
  • Development experience specifically working on Microsoft Dynamics Navision, .NET and Microsoft SQL
  • Good understanding of manufacturing business processes and enterprise resource planning (ERP)
  • Tenacious, self-starter, committed and hardworking
  • Honesty and integrity
  • Clear verbal and written communication skills
