We are looking for a talented Platform Engineer/AWS DevOps to join our team.
You will build and support the right cloud infrastructure architecture, balancing performance and resilience with cost.
You will be joining an experienced AWS team to help deliver secure environments to run client applications, the prime directive is to build a secure environment knowledge of security best practice and implementing monitoring and alerting is important.
You will also have excellent stakeholder management skills as you'll be part of the core Infrastructure team whilst supporting cross-functional product development groups who use agile management and engineering practices.
Responsibilities will include:
  • Migration of infrastructure to AWS from on premise servers
  • Building and maintaining a monitoring estate
  • Building and maintaining a set of tools that enable developers to self-serve for most operational tasks
  • Defining and maintaining a configuration management system
  • Supporting a CI/CD pipeline
  • Building and maintaining an auditing and infrastructure reporting solution
  • Monitor live services and responding quickly and effectively to any problems
  • Support core services such as Confluence, JIRA, Terraform, Jenkins, etc.

Essential skills:
  • Configuration management - Jenkins AND Ansible
  • AWS deployment, management and incident diagnosis
  • Experience of working in an agile environment
  • Good CloudFormation development skills and experience
