An elite international law firm is looking for a Tax Lawyer to join its Tax Asset Management/Funds team in London. The firm acts for publicly-listed and private companies, financial institutions and private equity clients, as well as other business enterprises involved in large and complex UK and cross-border matters and transactions. Your new role
The firm's Tax Asset Management Group sits within the wider Tax Department. This specific team are looking for a bright, enthusiastic and commercially astute Tax Associate with between 3-4 years' PQE experience to join the Tax Asset Management Group. You will advise on a full range of tax issues affecting the asset management industry including advising on the structure and establishment of investment funds within alternative asset classes, including private equity, credit, venture, real estate and infrastructure, advising fund managers on their own internal issues and the implementation of their management and advisory structures, and advising institutional investors on the tax risks of investing into fund structures.

What you'll need to succeed
Experience of tax asset management and investment funds work is highly desirable but the firm will consider Tax Lawyers with limited asset management experience provided they can demonstrate commitment to the specialism. Strong academics and technical excellence are essential. You will need to have gained practice experience with a top tier City law firm or US law firm with a well established and respected asset management tax practice team.
