Systems analyst with experience in healthcare product development is required on a permanent basis for a rapidly expanding digital healthcare company. P1vital Products Limited (PPL) is a leader in developing software and products for the pharmaceutical and healthcare sectors.We are investing over £4M to develop our leading product for improving the treatment of depression and to roll it out worldwide in the next 3-4 years.We have an excellent opportunity for a Systems Analyst to be part of a growing multi-functional team to manage the ongoing development, deployment, maintenance and support of this and other products in the PPL pipeline.Reporting into the IS Manager the Systems Analyst is responsible for requirements analysis, testing and implementation of IT healthcare products that add significant value to both customers, patients and the company.

The successful candidate will have a proven track record working in the IT healthcare sector or in a similar fast-growing start-up business environment.

The role:

    Develop user and system requirements for software productsManage software development projects using third party providers ensuring they are high quality, and delivered on time and within budgetDevelop validation documentation and conduct user acceptance testing Develop and conduct software product trainingDevelop and implement software product maintenance and support processes and proceduresBuild, set up, configure and test software products to meet client needs
Skills and expertise:

  • Graduate with IT or equivalent degree (IIi or above) and/or a higher degree
  • Experienced in managing software development projects through the full software development lifecycle
  • Experienced in computer systems validation preferably within the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry
  • Experience in working with third party software vendors
  • Excellent organisational, planning and time management skills
  • Excellent communication skills (both written and oral)
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work effectively with others
  • Excellent logical thinking and creative problem solving ability
  • High level of attention to detail and accuracy
  • Knowledge of database systems
  • Knowledge of programming languages (e.g. Visual Basic, Web application frameworks)
  • Advanced IT skills with MS office suite and MS Project
