An exciting new opportunity for a Finance Assistant has arisen to join a well-established company based near Central Oxford. As Finance Assistant, supporting the Finance Manager and Finance Director, you will be responsible for a variety of financial duties to include:
- Managing sub-consultant invoicing
- Coordinating staff expense and timesheet reports
- Monitoring business costs and overheads.
- Maintaining the purchase ledger
- Overseeing petty cash and local expenses
- General office administration support
To be successful in your application for this position, you will have previous demonstrable accounts experience in a similar role, ideally with an accounting qualification, or equivalent. You must have excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Excel (ideally including pivot tables, V-Lookups, charts, formulae). Commercial awareness is essential as well as excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
