Technical Support Engineer / 1st Line Support / IT Support (Windows / Network / Security) sought by an expanding cybersecurity company based in Alton, Hampshire to join a busy helpdesk team, with an excellent training programme offering strong progression opportunities within the company.
As the Technical Support Engineer, you will be the first point of contact providing 1st Line Support to a growing portfolio of clients. Responsibilities include responding to telephone and email queries, troubleshooting issues (e.g. by re-creating technical environments) or escalating to 2nd Line when required. This is a customer facing role requiring first class levels of customer service, and you will join a fast paced environment where you will rapidly learn new skills and increase your knowledge.
* Degree educated or similar IT-related qualifications (CompTIA A+, CCNA)
* Strong interest in IT
* Excellent communication skills
* Good problem-solving/troubleshooting skills
* Good organisational skills
* Can-do attitude
* Ability to pick things up quickly, with a desire to learn
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with up to 18 months experience in an IT related role, or someone looking to kick-start and build their career within IT.
