I am working on behalf of a reputable elderly service provider that requires a Registered Branch Manager for their fairly new domiciliary branch in Edinburgh.The Company: This is one of the UK's largest community healthcare providers in the UK. They have a number of branches across the country. The group has continued to grow, both through acquiring companies of all sizes and by winning new business. The majority of their services are commissioned by local authorities (or health and social care trusts in Northern Ireland), but they also provide services to NHS commissioners and to a growing number of private individuals. They are care led, meaning all of their services are provided with sensitivity and are individualised to the needs of the people within the local community. A sustainable financially stable company with a fantastic reputation.The group's success has hinged on its commitment to delivering the highest quality of services whilst offering the public purse great value for money.The group's senior management team has also been instrumental in the group's success. With one of the most experienced and capable management teams in the social care sector, they continue to go from strength to strength.The Branch/The role: This contract was won last year, the Edinburgh location is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to demonstrate their business development skills. Your main responsibilities will be to recruit good quality experienced domiciliary staff and to effectively grow the business with your team. You will also be responsible for maintaining good levels of training & staff development, ensuring high levels of compliance are achieved, overseeing the promotion and marketing of the branches services, ensuring budgetary control amongst other duties. The branch currently delivers 480 hours of care per week so needs expanding.This role is a full-time role, 9am : 5pm, Monday to Friday.The Person: You will be a strong & experienced individual within the domiciliary sector as a manager. You will have excellent business sense, with the ability to take the company to the next level and a desire to work to high standards. You will be a resilient individual with excellent leadership qualities and be able to develop your team in a competitive area.
