The Home has expansion plans to include a state of the art dementia care unit for an additional 10 residents and is conveniently located near Chatham, Kent A vacancy currently exists for an experienced Home Manager (NVQ 5 preferred and RMA qualified)) with up to date care and management skills to lead and motivate their established and professional care team and to ensure best care practice within the home. A competitive salary plus bonus is on offer commensurate with this important position within this highly regarded privately owned Care home. Job Duties for Care Home Manager:
•Responsible for the smooth running of the home and the general well-being of clients and staff.
•Supervision of staff, auditing of care plans and risk assessments
•Undertake pre admission assessments for new residents to the home
•Ensure that the home stays within its budget and that financial targets are met
•Play an integral role in supporting the service users to maximise their independence and achieve their own personal goalsThe successful Care Home Manager must have:
•Previous Care Home Management experience with in an elderly care environment
•Proven care skills
•Must have a strong understanding of care service and delivery within a nursing home
•Possess RMA or LMC or be willing to work towards it
