SYK Recruitment Specialists are currently recruiting for an experienced Care Home Manager to lead a 40+ bedded residential care home in Canterbury.

The modern home offers specialist care to older adults with general elderly frailties and dementia care and support requirements, and offers an excellent environment for both staff and residents.

As Home Manager you will manage staff, budgets and resources whilst coordinating the day to day clinical and operational management of the home, ensuring an effective and efficient service is maintained.

Applicants for this Home Manager post should meet the following criteria:

Have completed a recognised care management qualification such as the Registered Managers Award/NVQ Level 4/QCF or Diploma Level 5
At least 2 years current experience working as CQC Registered Manager of a residential care home, with a proven track record of success
Demonstrate good knowledge of CQC essential standards and best practices
Passionate about high standards and able to provide effective leadership to a large team

As Home Manager you will be contracted to a 40-hour week, worked primarily on day shifts but with some flexibility and on-call duties required due to the seniority of the post.

The annual salary offered is a very competitive £50,000.
