As a Development and Assurance Nurse, you will be assisting the Lead Development and Assurance Nurse to support nursing practice development across the organisation, incorporating evidence based interventions underpinned by regulatory requirements and national and local clinical standards.This is an immensely rewarding and fulfilling role, are you up to the challenge?Key Responsibilities:Develop the company as a learning environmentEnsure that the highest standards of nursing and clinical practice are achieved, maintained and provided for residents.Be a role model for clinical staff in ensuring safe and evidence based practice.Development and Assurance Nurse | Nurse | Nursing | Staff Development | Practice Development | Learning | Training | Coaching | Supervision | RGN Essential Criteria:Nursing Degree/Diploma and currently on the NMC RegisterTeaching, mentoring, supervision experienceEvidence of on-going professional and educational developmentDemonstrable practice development experienceAt least 5 years post graduate nursing experience, with at least 3 of these recently working within a neurological support, or similar, environmentClinical supervision experienceDynamic and self-motivating, with the ability to motivate othersInfluencing and negotiating skillsUp to date clinical knowledge, skills and practiceExcellent verbal and written communication skillsUp to date knowledge of CQC training requirementExcellent organisation and time management skills; ability to multi task and organise self and othersExcellent inter-personal relationship skillsExcellent teamwork skills and also the ability to work in isolation Desirable Criteria:Master's Degree in nursing or related subjectTraining QualificationClinical supervision qualificationMentorship or teaching qualificationExpert knowledge in dealing with following areas: Mental Capacity ActSOVAs/DoLsSafer patient handlingEnd of Life careDementia CareMedication Administration About Us:PJ Care Ltd are an award winning independent provider, we are also an award winning employer.
