I am recruiting for Residential Support Workers for the Worcester and Hereford areas.The services that you will work within predominately support children with EBD and those who have suffered trauma, naturally this can often present challenging and pressurised environments.You will be joining one of the largest and most reputable providers of children's services within the UK with endless opportunities to further progress.Various shifts are available including mornings/evenings/sleep ins and weekends, depending on your individual circumstances and the needs of each home.There are various homes within Worcester and Hereford so you will be allocated to the home best suited to you/closest to where you live. The position: Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited too; - Working within the children's home to ensure that each child is receiving the appropriate level of care and support - Actively promote a safe environment for all young people and staff within the home - Establish and develop professional working relationships with colleagues, external agencies, the young people and their families - Immediately report any unsafe practices and/or conditions The person: - NVQ Level 2 Children and Young People, as minimum, would be desirable - Experience of working within a care environment supporting young people is essential*Please note a Full UK Driving License is ESSENTIAL for this postCoburg Banks Health and Social Care specialise in recruiting Care Managers, Care Co-ordinators and Senior Carers within Residential care, Domiciliary care, Supported living and Nursing across the UK.
