Our client, based in Tewkesbury, is looking for a Systems Administrator to deploy the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system across all business streams.

Main duties within this role include:

·General IT support to the office

·CRM system deployed fully and reliably across the company

·New system features/capabilities prioritised to benefit the business and well implemented

·Liaise and oversee work of CRM developers and related IT contractors

·General IT support to all departments, so they can maintain regulatory compliance and develop services to the industry

·Production of accurate and timely management information, to facilitate good decision making.

·IT support within the office, offering solutions and coaching to colleagues

·Super-user for the CRM system. Test features, and co-ordinate testing by other users

·Co-ordinate data migration by teams from legacy systems onto CRM

·Run the CRM system day-to-day

·Work closely with Registration and Sales/Marketing teams and business managers to exploit potential of the system

·Track data entry by users for consistency and quality. Share best practise and standardise

·Devise system improvement ideas, and evaluate feedback/suggestions from other sources

·Subject to senior management approval, carry out local configuration changes and apply upgrades and add-ons supplied by external developers/vendors

·First-line CRM support and escalation to third party support when necessary

·Inductions of new staff

·Implement document management and intranet and promote good practice

·Manage IT support contracts to ensure best value and correct level of support

·Maintain GDPR data protection compliance including staff awareness

·Ensure systems are fully documented

·Report on progress and service levels

·Work with staff and external providers on other improvement and technology projects.


·In-depth support to all staff and external users/partners (Inspectors, Training Centres, etc)

·Selected registrants/subscribers for system testing, user feedback and escalated problems

·Contractors providing software, hardware, telephony and other services.




·IT Super User. All-round advanced user of desktop software including MS Office

·Strong track record delivering IT solutions to business/clients in a busy commercial environment and implementing changes/upgrades effectively

·Highly skilled in manipulating complex datasets for a CRM or for equivalent systems

·Flair for problem solving and simplifying workflow

·Accurate with detail and record keeping. Methodical planning/scheduling

·Adaptable and proactive attitude focused on business needs of internal/external clients

·Ability to interpret regulatory frameworks and developments in the industry.

·Familiar with requirements and techniques for data protection - GDPR compliance


·Degree-level or professional qualifications in computing or information systems

·Strong technical understanding of CRM in membership/subscriber models, ideally MS Dynamics

·Able to write database queries and scripts (SQL or equivalent, Excel macros)

·Experience implementing/developing document control system

·Good experience integrating to other platforms and applications: office networks, finance systems, marketing/campaign tools, website back-end/CMS and telephony

·Confident in championing good practice and communicating expectations.
