We have an exciting opportunity to join our clients team as a Sales Office Revenue Manager to drive the continued development and growth of revenue and profits by maximising revenue and profits for the hotel through the strategic coordination of revenue management application, processes and procedures.


To bring a Total Revenue Management culture to the hotel you work with.Develop pricing strategies that are based on accurate commercial judgement through effective data reporting and analysis.Ensure all systems are maximised by operating in line with company best practices and standard operating procedures.Ensure effective information gathering and analysis is conducted in order to identify and maximise on all possible opportunities and minimise any risks.Ensure that hotel team members are actively engaged in all revenue decisions by maintaining regular communication to effectively implement optimal strategies and controls.Ensure that hotel and central office team are actively communicated with in terms of forecast delivery compared to budgeted figures.Ensure team members exceed customer expectations at every opportunity by offering exceptional customer service.Create and develop a sales focused team who are motivated and have a desire win.Maximise all revenue opportunities across all Revenue streams.Ensure a conference pricing strategy is in place relating to demand period and delegate density ensuring external factors are also considered i.e. competitor set.Ensure conference diary management is in place, enabling all enquires are given full consideration and every effort is made to achieve highest possible RevPAR.Set an accommodation pricing strategy for transient and group for all segments taking into account all influencing factors.Ensure cost of sales and profitability is considered in all strategy setting.Ensure an overbooking strategy is in place to maximise fill efficiency.Review strategy if required and instigate marketing activity where required.Ensure Day Types and Rate categorisation reflects forecast and demand.Pricing strategies, marketing opportunities and the competitive environment.Conduct displacement analysis where required on group business as needed to determine the impact potential business will have on RevPAREnsure rate shopping data is consistent, appropriate and effectively analysed.Review all competitive shops on a consistent basis (at least 3 times weekly) and identifies selling strategies and market trends.Review Demand Calendars, convention calendars and city event calendars to keep abreast of all demand generators.Review Sales leads and cross referrals.Review Market intelligence where available to analyse market share.Job Type: Full-time
