SYK Recruitment Specialists are currently recruiting for an experienced Deputy Manager to work in a large residential care home in Burgess Hill.

The CQC rated “good" home is owned and managed by a leading care group and offers general elderly, dementia and disability care and you will work in a friendly, supportive environment along with receiving excellent rates of pay in of £28,282 per annum.

Candidates for this Residential Home Deputy Manager position should meet the following criteria:

Qualified to a minimum of NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care although ideally you will have also completed higher level studies
At least 2 years’ experience working as a Deputy Manager in a residential care home environment
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with an enthusiastic and motivated approach
Passionate about providing high quality care
Able to work flexibly, covering weekend and evening shifts when required

The working hours for this position are 37.5 per week.

As Deputy Manager you will work alongside the Registered Manager to coordinate the clinical and operational management of the service, managing staff, budgets and resources.
