Client Information:
Our client is one of the UK's leading private hospital groups with locations throughout the UK. They currently offer treatment to patients undergoing medical and surgical interventions. They operate within state of the art facilities equipped with the latest technology. Their hospitals are able to offer the most complex surgeries to patients with exceptional aftercare both inpatient and outpatient.

Opportunities:
We are currently looking to recruit some Staff Nurses to work on surgical wards of the hospital located in Kent-Orpington.

Working as the Sister/Charge Nurse you will be responsible for managing the clinical caseload for the unit while supporting all junior members of staff. You will have clinical ownership of the unit when in charge and you will also involve acting as a support to the Head of Department at the hospital, helping to ensure the correct delivery of service. You will encapsulate the ethos of the hospital supporting patients through their journey. Part of your day to day will involve preparing for clinics, staff allocation, complaints management & stock ordering. Working alongside the Head of Department you will plan, develop and implement new policies and procedures to continuously improve the service. A vital part of your role will be ensuring you provide clinical leadership to all members of staff on the unit
To be considered for this role you will be a registered general nurse with at least 3 years experience working as a nurse in a ward setting. You will have an ENB988 or mentorship course completed. As this is a senior role a through understanding of clinical governance and risk management is expected along with knowledge of Auditing, Benchmarking. You will demonstrate a high level of leadership skills along with advanced interpersonal and communication skills. You will be self confident along with the ability to work and manage a team.
